Meet the Sloans
- Jennifer
- I'm Jennifer. In April of 2005, I married my amazing husband, Matt, after God authored our love story. On that day, I also was given the gift of a son through marriage, Jacob. We have gone on to be blessed with two more boys, Eli and Abel. I am the lone female amongst a bunch of boys and I wouldn't have it any other way! I am a special education teacher, turned homemaker and have been navigating my way in that uncharted territory! I spend most days trying to maintain some sense of order amidst the chaos. Even so, I'm working toward "seeing the glory peeking out from behind the ordinary." I never would have dreamed that this is how my life would turn out, but I would not change a thing! Thanks for stopping by. I pray as you visit you can see reflections of the eternal in our everyday!

I absolutely love it! Of course I love the Joseph part especially :) What a strong name to live up to.
I just love Elijah Joseph. Matt you did a good job! I know that it will just fit this little fellow! Can't wait to be introduced to him in person. He will be here really soon and I am getting so excited!!! Next month!!! But we already have Jacob and that is a real joy now! Two great boys!!!

Wow! I know a "Joseph" in Pennsylvania that will be impressed. For everyone else's benefit: Joseph is the name of Matt's Godfather. And yes Joseph is an "Italian" Godfather. I guess he made Matt an offer regarding the name that Matt couldn't refuse.
I love the name and can't wait to meet him!
